TOGETHER WE SHINE
about 1 year ago – Fri, Apr 21, 2023 at 07:44:09 AM

Together with 71 other backers you collectively raised $5,171 to bring Total Solar Eclipse: A Stellar Friendship Story to life in print!

We set a symbolic—but ambitious—initial goal of $2024 and we crushed it. You'll get all of the rewards you pledged plus the first stretch reward!

We fell just short of the stretch goal for the spot UV on the cover, but I still have a couple of aces up my sleeve. We're going to unlock it too and make that cover SHINE like it deserves on both the paperback and the hardcover editions available through this campaign!

Behind the scenes I'm working on the backer surveys and finalizing the last details of the book itself—dotting every "i" and double-checking every shadow.

The Kickstarter surveys will go out via email in early May. Keep an eye out for it in your inbox because this is how we'll know where to send your goods and how you'll answer other questions related to your rewards. We're committed to getting you what you pledged and expect.

With current printing and shipping times, we're estimating to mail your physical rewards in late July. I will keep you posted through updates just like this. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to message me at any time.

If you know someone who missed the campaign but still wants in, they can email [email protected]. We'll be setting up pre-orders soon and are always open to conversations about wholesale opportunities, events and class presentations.

Kickstarter ended up being the perfect way to soft launch our book. Through this campaign we've demonstrated the book's main social lesson: TOGETHER WE SHINE.

We're just getting started introducing Total Solar Eclipse: A Stellar Friendship Story to the world. Thanks to you, it's a heck of a start.

With sincere gratitude,

Jayme

I've got a fever, and the only cure is...
about 1 year ago – Thu, Apr 20, 2023 at 12:52:46 PM

...seeing another total solar eclipse!

Yesterday there was a super rare combination total and annular "ring of fire" eclipse in the Southern Hemisphere.

Authorities of a tiny Western Australia town in the heart of it had to to open an overflow camp site, bring in temporary water tanks, upgrade telecommunication infrastructure and spend millions on traffic management and improved beach facilities to accommodate the huge crowd, according to The Guardian.

The world was paying attention.

"Solar Eclipse 2023" was the 7th most popular trend on Google worldwide. After you've seen one, the most common question is, "When and where can I see the next total solar eclipse?"

As a backer of this Kickstarter you're a step ahead of a lot of people in getting ready for the North American Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024!

When those prices gouge on eclipse glasses close to the big day, and more than 32 million + people are buying whatever total solar eclipse merchandise they can get their hands on in gas stations to remember their priceless experience, you'll be sitting pretty in your solar shades, pen in hand to fill out the memory page in your first edition copy of Total Solar Eclipse: A Stellar Friendship Story.

Thank you so much for seeing the potential in this book. With about 17 hours to go in the Kickstarter, we've more than doubled our initial funding goal. AMAZING! We're putting it all toward pledge fulfillment and printing.

While those hours tick down to our finish line of our soft launch, you can watch the Australian event here. Totality is around the 1:01 mark.
